Wilczyn - (dawniej Wilczyn Leśny), niem. Heidewilxen - wieś w woj. dolnośląskim, w pow. trzebnickim, w gminie Oborniki Śląskie, położona przy drodze Oborniki Śląskie - Trzebnica. Duża wieś położona nad strumieniem Lubniówka, wśród wzgórz i lasów. Obecnie znana jako wieś letniskowa. Wilczyn Leśny jest malowniczo położony wśród Wzgórz Trzebnickich. Sąsiadują z nim Lesiste Wzgórza - jedno z nielicznych zalesionych odgałęzień Wzgórz Trzebnickich. W odległości około kilometra za wsią znajdują się dwa stawy rybne, pełniące funkcję hodowlaną (głównie hodowla karpia) oraz rekreacyjną (kąpielisko). W pobliskich lasach (między Obornikami a Wilczynem) przez kilka kilometrów ciągnie się stary rów przeciwczołgowy, zbudowany przez Niemców w czasie II wojny światowej dla utrudnienia przejazdu wojskom radzieckim.

Wilczyn - ( formerly Wilczyn Forest ) , German Heidewilxen - a village in Lower Silesia , in the district of Trzebnicki , in the municipality of Oborniki Śląskie , located on the road Oborniki Śląskie - Trzebnica . Large village situated on the stream Lubniówka , among the hills and forests. Now known as the holiday village. Wilczyn is beautifully situated among the hills Trzebnickie . Wilczyn - frueher, Deutscher Name Heidewilxen - ein Dorf in Niederschlesien, im Landkreis Trzebnica, in der Gemeinde Obernigk. Schlesien, auf der Straße Obernigk Schlesien - Trebnitz . Großes Dorf am Bach Lubniówka gelegen , zwischen den Hügeln und Wäldern. Jetzt als Feriendorf bekannt. Wilczyn ist wunderschön mittendrin im Katzengebirge gelegen.. Angrenzend an den bewaldeten Hügeln - eine der wenigen bewaldeten Katzengebirge. In einer Entfernung von etwa einem Kilometer vom Dorf entfernt, gibt es zwei Fischteiche , die als Zucht (hauptsächlich Karpfen Landwirtschaft ) und Erholung ( Schwimmen) dienen .In den umliegenden Wäldern ( zwischen Oborniki und Wilczyn ) erstreckt sich ein über mehrere Kilometer alter Panzergraben, der von den Deutschen während des Zweiten Weltkriegs gebaut wurde, um den sowjetischen Truppen die Durchfarht zu erschweren.

Sehenswürdigkeiten:
 1. der Friedhofkomplex: das Neo-Romanische Mausoleum der Herrscherfamilie von Lauterbach aus dem Jahre 1868, der evangelischer Friedhof aus der 1. Hälfte des 19 Jh. , die Mauer um den Friedhof aus dem Jahre 1890. 
2 Der Schlosskomplex mit dem Vorwerk und der Brennerei aus der Mitte des 20. Jh. , das Hintergebäude aus der Mitte des 20. Jh, der Palastpark aus dem 18 -19 Jh . , der Vorwerkkomplex mit dem Viehstall und dem Reitstall aus der Hälfte des 19 Jh. und Anfang des 20. Jh. , zwei Viehstaelle und eine Scheune aus dem Ende des 19. Jh. Das Burgtor mit der Mauer aus dem Anfang des 20. Jh, die Brennerei und das Nebengebäude aus dem Jahre 1880 und 1920, Werkstätte aus dem Jahre 1920 .
